Trusted Creator Training Fellowship

As the new trusted voices of our time, content creators have both an outsized influence on shaping public opinion, as well as an outsized responsibility to get the information they are delivering to their audiences right. News Creator Corps’ flagship program is a training fellowship for information-focused content creators. Our cohorts are made up of independent creators who provide a service to their community, whether that’s restaurant openings, public health information, parenting discussions, or local stories. The fellowship teaches tactical skills like fact-checking, sourcing, and interviewing to ensure the creators are disseminating accurate information. Fellows receive a $5,000 stipend.

Rural Creator Fellowship

More than 3,500 local news outlets have closed in the past two decades, and rural communities have been hit hardest. The Rural Creator Fellowship trains trusted local voices — whether experienced content creators or community members new to public information sharing — in the journalism skills needed to fill that gap. The 5-week virtual program covers fact-checking, sourcing, public records research, and ethical reporting, so fellows can create accurate, community-focused content their neighbors can rely on. Fellows receive a $3,500 stipend.

The NCC Collective

When creators complete an NCC fellowship, they don’t just walk away with new skills — they join a network. The Collective is our nationwide community of accredited, accuracy-trained creators: a growing roster of trusted voices covering politics, health, law, science, culture, and more, with a combined reach of over 5 million followers. Collective members receive ongoing support, resources, and community. Organizations looking to get their work in front of highly engaged, fact-focused creators can advertise in the Collective’s weekly newsletter or partner with our members directly.

Community Amplification Program

The Community Projector Program connects community groups, nonprofits, local government agencies, and civic organizations with content creators and trusted messengers to spread the word about important programs and resources. These creators work across platforms, mostly frequently on TikTok, Instagram, and Substack, and have deeply engaged audiences. We are particularly interested in supporting projects around topics that frequently confront misinformation and disinformation, such as health and wellness, election integrity and civic engagement, immigration, and weather and climate.

How to Report Accurately Without Getting Cancelled Along the Way

October 7, 2026 at 1:00pm Eastern

Virtual

In a fast-moving digital environment, creating content that is accurate, engaging, and responsible can be challenging—especially when covering sensitive or polarizing topics.

In this hands-on webinar, Factchequeado will share practical strategies for content creators to verify information using both traditional fact-checking methods and AI-powered verification tools, identify misinformation, and report responsibly while maintaining credibility with their audiences.

We’ll also explore what it means to create content as a bilingual Latino creator speaking to the diverse and complex Latino communities in the United States. Using data and research about Latino audiences—including how they consume, share, and engage with information—we’ll discuss how creators can better understand who they are speaking to, avoid treating Latinos as a monolithic audience, and make more informed decisions about the topics, language, framing, and formats they use.

The goal is to give creators practical tools to produce reliable, high-quality content, navigate public backlash and misinformation, and build trust with the communities they serve.

As creators seek to make sense of the economic trends shaping Americans’ lives, reliable data can help separate perception from reality. Join News Creator Corps and Pew Research Center for a conversation about how Americans are experiencing the economy and how they view the broader economic system.

Pew Research Center Senior Associate Director of Social Trends Research Juliana Horowitz will share new survey findings on how people feel the economy is working for them and their views of the economic system. Senior Researcher Richard Fry will discuss the affordability challenges facing Americans today, particular young adults.

This webinar is designed to equip creators with trusted, nonpartisan data and insights to help contextualize the trends they are seeing in everyday life and reporting.
