The NCC Collective

Training creators is where we start. The Collective is where the work continues.

When a creator completes an NCC fellowship, they join our nationwide network of accredited, accuracy-focused content creators — trusted community messengers who have demonstrated a commitment to fact-based information sharing. The Collective is the infrastructure that keeps that network connected, supported, and growing.

The Network

NCC Collective members are some of the most impactful information providers in the country. They cover politics, health, law, science, immigration, culture, and more — not as media institutions, but as trusted neighbors. Combined, they reach over 5 million followers across platforms, in communities that mainstream media often misses.

Every Collective member has completed NCC’s rigorous fact-checking training. That accreditation matters. It means when a Collective creator shares information, their audience — and their partners — can trust that it’s been verified.

Partner With Our Creators

News organizations, nonprofits, and civic institutions have found Collective creators to be some of the most effective messengers for getting important information out. We connect organizations with Collective members for social content partnerships — putting resources, reports, and stories directly in front of the audiences that need them most.

Advertise in the Collective Newsletter

Most organizations that want to reach influential creators have two options: hope they find you, or spend significant budget on a bespoke partnership. We built a third way.

The Collective newsletter gives you direct access to a curated network of accuracy-focused creators at a price point that works for newsrooms, nonprofits, and research institutions — not just those with major marketing budgets. A placement in the newsletter doesn’t guarantee coverage, but it puts your resource, report, tool, or story directly in the hands of creators who are actively looking for exactly this kind of material. What they do with it is up to them — and that’s the point. These are independent voices, not paid promoters.

  • From Our Partners Link — $16/link: Get your resource, tool, report, or link in front of every Collective member. Each placement includes your title, a short description, and a direct link.
  • Presenting Sponsor — $100/issue: Own the top of the newsletter. Your logo and a sponsor sentence appear before any content — the first thing every creator sees. Exclusive to one sponsor per issue.

What Collective Members Receive

NCC’s commitment to our creators doesn’t end at graduation. Collective membership includes:

  • A weekly newsletter with best practices, content ideas, and curated resources
  • Ongoing skill-building classes and workshops
  • Official NCC media credentials for on-the-ground reporting
  • Group discounts on software tools and physical equipment
  • A peer community of accuracy-focused creators across the country
