Help shape our research around news content creation

In addition to our 8-week flagship program, News Creator Corps wants to help inform how creators, audiences and journalists can combat misinformation together. As part of this mission, we will embark on original research that will help inform how news creators can combat misinformation and how audiences can discern accurate information on social media. For example, what are some red flags that commonly appear in AI-generated false images? Or what types of monetary disclosures would help audiences trust news creators’ information?

To inform this work, we need to know your questions. What information could help news creators earn audiences’ trust or verify your sources of information? If you consume information via creators, what information would help you discern accurate news from misinformation? If you work in a newsroom or nonprofit, what questions are coming up from you in considering creator partnerships?

We want your ideas: surveys we should conduct, data we should collect, or other research we can do to help fight misinformation on social media.
